Abandoned on a Moonlit Night is a song released by Akuno-P released on October 6, 2008. It is the seventh song in the Original Sin Story and a sequel to Moonlit Bear.

Гензель и Гретель отправились со своими родителями в Эльдский лес, расспрашивая их по пути, куда они идут и смогут ли поесть в конце пути. In Held's Forest , Hänsel and Gretel follow their parents into the woods, asking where they are going and if they'll get to eat when they get there. Soon they realize they will become lost if they continue on the path, and both are abandoned "like Hänsel and Gretel." As they both wandered through the forest for some time, they find a little glass bottle and filled it with moonlight to illuminate the path. Finally, they reach the house, but by this time they mistake it for a "witch's house". The two shove their mother off into an oven, believing that killing the "evil witch" will make them happy. They ask for praise from their parents, Gretel for defeating the "evil witch" and Hänsel for defeating her "evil henchman". At the song's end, they decide this is a good place to settle, as it reminds them of their home. They resolve to go find their "real mother and father".

Curiosities A short story elaborating on the events in the song is included in Waltz of Evil: The Deadly Sins of Evil Guidebook. The glass bottle present in the song seems to be the same one seen in Moonlit Bear; a similar glass bottle appears in Regret Message. In Chrono Story, the twins seem aware that the "witch" they killed was their foster mother, contrasting their apparent ignorance in Abandoned on a Moonlit Night. Gretel's curiosity about tasty snacks to eat references Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche and her love for snacks, particularly brioche. Their uncertainty on whether or not they travel along the "right path" parallels Moonlit Bear, where Eve describes that the "right path" had already been lost; both situations involved outward lunacy on a moonlit night through Held's Forest. Both songs also share the same melody during that part, although at a different pace. The song's opening melody is heard at the end of Moonlit Bear.
