Lucifenian

Люцифениан был столицей Люцифении и располагался на севере страны. Город граничит с Лесом Забвения около Эльфегорта, а так же в нем находиться Люцифенский Королевский Дворец.

Lucifenian was the capital city of Lucifenia, located in the north of the region. The city bordered the Forest of Bewilderment near Elphegort and housed the Lucifenian Royal Palace. 

History

Early History

В 399 году по летописи Эвиллиоса король Люцифениан I основал Королевство Люцифения, и сделал Люцифениан столицей новой страны, внутри был построен Люцифенский Королевский Дворец. Незадолго до событий 500 года по летописи Эвиллиоса, вблизи города расположилась группа бандитов, они украли дочь местного кузнеца, но девочка была спасена приемными детьми Леонарда Авадонии.

After the Kingdom of Lucifenia was established by Lucifenia I in EC 399, Lucifenian was made the capital of the new nation and the Lucifenian Royal Palace was constructed inside. Sometime before EC 500, a group of bandits camped just outside the city and captured the daughter of a local blacksmith, the girl rescued afterwards by Leonhart Avadonia's adopted children.

Reign of Evil

With the rest of the kingdom, the people of Lucifenian became increasingly desperate and dissatisfied with the Lucifenian Royal Family during the reign of Princess Riliane, high taxes and countrywide famine making most in the city destitute. In EC 500 the residents of the city discovered Leonhart's dead body in the city's river, many concluding that he was assassinated on Riliane's order. His funeral was also held outside the palace, attended by his friends, subordinates, and relatives.

The Lucifenian Resistance formed from a handful of residents in the city not long after Leonhart's funeral, beginning to reach out to the citizens disillusioned with Riliane's rule. While citizens were temporarily placated by financial support from Elphegort and Marlon, public opinion dropped again with the Green War. After one of the citizens attempted to assassinate Prime Minister Minis in the palace, members of the Venom Mercenary Group came to occupy the city and abused the populace. During this time, public dissent became great enough that riots broke out against the Lucifenian monarchy, incited by the Lucifenian Resistance.

Revolution and Republic

As the Lucifenian Revolution gained ground in the kingdom, Lucifenian served as the last stand for the Venom Mercenary Group against the Lucifenian Resistance. The city was captured and the revolutionaries invaded the palace soon afterwards, bringing the Revolution to an end with the capture of the Riliane. After Lucifenia's occupation by the Kingdom of Marlon, the city remained the site of governance for the territory, and presumably remained a political center for Lucifenia after it was made a republic.

Locations

Lucifenian Royal Palace

The political center of Lucifenia as well as the home of the Lucifenian Royal Family. After the Lucifian Revolution and during Marlon's occupation, it served as the governing residence of King Kyle Marlon. After Lucifenia's independence was reinstated and it was made a republic, it is unknown what became of the palace.

Millennial Square

A central district in Lucifenian in which people gathered for important events, such as public executions. The Square was known to contain a bar as well as house a center stage outside. After the Lucifenian Revolution, the princess' execution was staged in the square.

Avadonia Residence

The home of the Avadonia family. Leonhart Avadonia lived in the house, outside the palace, with his two adopted children. It had practice dummies in the front and a bridge adjact to it to cross the Orgo River. It is unknown what became of the residence after Germaine left on her travels abroad.

Langley Smithy

The home of the Langley family. Run by Chartette's father, the residence served as a blacksmithy for Lucifenian and was visited by many clients, including the Three Heroes, for weapons repairs. In the lead-up to the Lucifenian Revolution, weapons for the Resistance were also made in the smithy.

Orgo River

A river running through the city, the bank not far from the Avadonia residence. Leonhart's dead body was discovered in the river after his assassination.

Cemetery

A graveyard located on a hill outside the palace. Leonhart's funeral took place on the hill after his body was recovered from the river.

Levin Cathedral

A center of the Levin faith, used as both a gathering place for parishioners of the faith and members of the clergy. The bells of the church would ring on the hour to communicate the time to citizens, and were loud enough to be heard from the Palace. It was considered a blessing to be born while the bells were ringing in the town.
